Machida Edges Out Rua

In a fight that ended up being much closer than most people anticipated, Lyoto Machida was able to defeat Mauricio “Shogun” Rua in a tough five-round brawl which went to the scorecards. The decision was largely contested by most onlookers who though that Rua had fought well enough to win. Lyoto is now still undefeated at 16-0 and remains the light heavyweight champion.
