Seeing these photos grouped together, I would say, the average onlooker would say a phrase similar to the quote above. I’d rather them study a bit harder and come to the question “who’s the man behind the Casio Gold Illuminator, 10k gold chain, Polo hat, Polo tee, and tattoos?” I reply, “the same man without them.” The cliche line “don’t judge a book by it’s cover” can arrive but, it comes in handy for this situation. You can’t see my face for a reason. Dig a little deeper and get to know me.

The Status of The Progression

I’m going to record four more tracks for “The Progression” then, wrap it up. I’m looking to drop it on my born day, the 12th of this month. That will be my present to myself. That photo above was taken by yours truly. I have a variety of interests and photography is definitely one. Thanks to the young lady featured in the photo. She will be handling the visuals for “The Progression.” Yes, I have a few tricks up my sleeve. As long as I’ve held’ off this project, I promise it’s worth the wait. Stay tuned.

Skip and I chopped it up again this Saturday for some grub and planning. It was entirely too brick outside so, we spent most of our time indoors watching the football game. I’m not really too heavy into football until it’s playoff and Superbowl time. Basketball is more my cup of tea anyway.

My head is bowed but, I’m not down about anything, I’m more like thinking, plotting, and brainstorming. Plan your takeover people. Let’s not start our progression for one week and catch slack. Let’s stay consistent and persistent. This weekend shall be full on my end. I’ll be recording for my upcoming project “The Progression,” meeting with Skip for some plotting and adventure, and well, you’ll have to peep the photos I’ll take and see for yourself. WEED
Weed is back. Not sure that it ever left but it’s becoming more and more mainstream every year. This past decade was a clear indication of the trend. No longer is the mystical green plant considered the devil’s harvest, people are becoming more and more accepting of its uses, both for medical and leisure purposes. The hipster culture along with the music it adores has embraced marijuana while videos of celebrities like The Governator puffing away generates more laughs than groans. It’s just a matter of time before it’s legalized.
Thrift Hop Off 2.0

From Newark to Brooklyn, we trekked and stopped at some local thrift shops looking for items we can throw in our bags. I feel like the visuals keep getting better each go round. Peep 2.0 people. Of course, I handled the music score once again with “Car Service Freestyle” from “The Progression Prequel.”

Nakeya B. and I got up early Friday morning to do some navigating in the city Newark which I call home. We haven’t filled our stomachs with anything so, this trek was a hunt for grub.
