John Legend & The Roots – “I Can’t Write Left Handed” Video

September 1, 2010 |No Comments| by skip

I’m a pretty big John Legend fan, so this gets a post. I think he’s the best R&B guy in the game (sorry Trey Songz) and his albums have all been awesome. His upcoming projects with The Roots should turn a lot of heads, especially following the release of “Wake Up Everybody.” Hit the jump for a nice little interview with DJ Reflex. Dope stuff.

Soulja Boy – “Kickin’” Video

September 1, 2010 |No Comments| by skip

Soulja Boy visuals are pretty much always welcome here on PFOP. At the end of the day, the kid is entertaining, as this video clearly proves. I just wonder if he’ll ever grow as a lyricist. Where will Soulja Boy be in ten years? Oh and check out his partner-in-crime Lil B’s track “I Am” a few posts back. It’s pretty damn legit. They also did some stuff together a few days ago. Check that out here.

I’m about to hop in the shower and head to the library but I’ve got two more posts to throw up before I make moves. The first is this new Cudder song entitled “Do You Get It,” presumably off his upcoming album. CuDi gives you an insight on his life story and where he comes from. Cleveland in the buildin’.

New music from Tip Harris and the fat man. Speaking of Tip, it appears as though his new movie “Takers” is doing pretty well, as in the number one film in America. That’s a great look. Congrats. His album “King Uncaged” is on the way. Update: Tagless version added.

Lil’ B – “I Am”

This song is not only one of the best Lil’ B tracks I’ve ever come across, but one of the illest zone-out records in recent memory. For a change we get some deep lyrics from the California rapper and I must say, the result is definitely PFOP approved. You may be a bit hesitant to give this a chance but you know the moto, trust in Skip. Update: CDQ version added. Man, I love this song.

Cee-Lo – “Fuck You” Video

Here are the visuals to Cee-Lo’s surprising smash-hit, “Fuck You.” I like the record and the video is pretty special as well. It’s good to see the Goodie Mob and Gnarls Barkley member doin’ what he does best. Enjoy.

Big Sean – “Finally Famous, Vol. 3: BIG” Mixtape

It’s late, I’m tired, and I wanna watch an episode of The Tudors before I pass out. With that being said, we’ve been waiting a long time for this tape and it’s finally here. There’s really not much more to say. Peep the tracklist after the jump, download this bad boy, and enjoy. I have a feeling it’s something vicious.

Here goes Wiz’s first official single off his upcoming album. I think it’s safe that this is a bit different than what we’ve come to expect from the Taylor Gang representer, but the result is the same. Straight fire. Scoop this up and thank Wiz on Twitter. Update: Tagless version added.

Tyga – “B.M.F. Freestyle” Video

September 1, 2010 |2 Comments| by skip

Well I think it’s safe to say that Lex Luger is the hottest producer in the game right now. He deserves the shine, the kid makes hits. And what the hell has gotten into Tyga? Not too long ago I wasn’t sold on the tatted up rapper but man, he’s been killin’ it lately. Maybe having his boss Wayne in jail has given him a little extra motivation. Whatever the reason, it’s working.

Rick Ross – “Hard In The Paint Freestyle” Video

August 31, 2010 |No Comments| by skip

That’s lookin’ like Vegas. I really wanna go. Any of you guys ever been? Lemme get a brief review in the comments section. As far as this “Hard In The Paint” track goes, dead it. I’ve heard the beat too many times. With that being said, everything I’ve seen has been solid. Curren$y or Ross?

Hello world. I’ve been at the US Open all day enjoying some great tennis (post coming tomorrow), so pardon the lack of posts these last twenty-four hours. I hope you enjoyed the “Bottom of The Map Freestyle” video and “Get Throwed/Where I Been Freestyle” from MoShadee. Big things are coming. Here is a little something from Chip and bunch of other dope rappers. Gotta love PFOP. Original music, pictures, video, and much much more. It’s a lifestyle.

MoShadee – “Bottom of The Map Freestyle” Video

August 31, 2010 |No Comments| by skip

This video is long overdue. At the beginning of the summer, the PFOP crew met up in New York, got a hotel room for the night, and had some of best moments of our young lives. There’s nothing better than being around close friends, especially when you’re all going after a common goal. While there, we decided to shot a little video for MoShadee’s “Bottom of The Map Freestyle,” off “The Progression Prequel” mixtape. With LumzLenz behind the lense, we made it happen. With good drink and smoke to aid us along the way, we captured something special: the sure emergence of a young man’s career we all have high hopes for. Expect to see the name MoShadee a lot. We’re on a mission. Be sure to check out that “Get Throwed/Where I Been Freestyle” a few posts back and head over to the LumzLenz website for a dose of visual dopeness. *MoShadee is a PFOP Artist.

The homie Rich Hil definitely has a knack for picking dope beats and getting awesome features, but I need a solid project to be sold on the stoner kid. “You Ain’t Gotta Stay” is doin’ it for me though. Can’t front. His upcoming mixtape “Ricky Goes To Rehab” coming soon. Spotted at illRoots.
