March Madness Is Upon Us

It’s the best time of year if you are a college basketball fan. With last year’s champion not even being in the tournament, a new college team will be crowned the kings of the court. Will there be a Cinderella team to win the tournament like Siena or Baylor, or will a number one seed be the new champions like Duke or Kentucky. Eagles Cut Ties w/ Westbrook

This is quickly becoming a crappy offseason for old NFL running backs. In a matter of days, Jamal Lewis, LaDainian Tomlinson, and now Brian Westbrook have all been cut by their respective teams. Lets hope that these guys are able to find a new home and end their careers on a positive note…

Tomlinson Released By Chargers

I’m sure all you sports fans heard about this already. One of the greatest running backs ever, LaDainian Tomlinson, has been released by the San Diego after nine Hall of Fame NFL seasons. After steadily decreasing rushing numbers and an increasing age, the Chargers will look to get younger at the position while L.T. looks to sign with a championship contender. We wish both parties the best of luck.

I thought he was very sincere. The whole situation is pretty screwed up. I really hope Tiger and his family are able to work through this. He’ll play golf again when he’s ready.

Knicks Land T-Mac

Before you go all crazy on the Knicks for getting yet another old washed-up superstar, understand the real reason they made this trade. Getting T-Mac means that New York is gonna have a ton of cap room to fool around with this summer. With LeBron, Chris Bosh, and Dwayne Wade eying free agency, they can now sign two marquee players. Can you imagine LeBron and Chris Bosh in a Knicks uniform? As far as the Rockets go, Aaron Brooks, Kevin Martin, Trevor Ariza, and a healthy Yao Ming could make up a serious championship contender for years to come…

Reunited

Yes, Bassy and Bron pictured above in their high school uniforms. Now, teammates because of this. Pretty exciting. I’ve been following the duo since I was in high school. I recorded Telfair’s high school McDonald’s game, his game against Dwight Howard in high school, and the game versus Darius Washington (past Memphis player and McDonald’s All-American) in high school. I’m not going to get into the list I did for LeBron, but let’s just say I kept VHS in business. Both co-signed by Jay-Z, both played with each other during the rise of their high school careers, I couldn’t of heard any better news in sports. I was beginning to lose hope in Bassy’s career. This just shot up my anticipation. I still think the Lakers will take this year’s championship again, but this shall make the playoffs geared a bit more towards my liking. Antawn Jamison Headed To Cleveland

Wow. I really wanted Cleveland to get Amare but Jamison is a beast as well. I mean just look at the man’s stats. LeBron + Jamison = NBA title. Sorry Kobe. As far as the Wizards go, I think it’s safe to say they’re in the rebuilding stage. No Gilbert, no Butler, no Haywood, and now no Jamison. Goodness. I don’t see them being good for a few years…

LeBron James’ 25th Birthday Party

Wednesday, December 30th, LeBron James celebrated his 25th birthday with friends and family at Barroom in Cleveland. A number of local and out of town celebs were in attendance including Akon, Young Jeezy, Terrell Owens, Drake, Fabolous, Adrienne Bailon, Shaq, Josh Cribbs, Donte Whitner, Larry Johnson, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and others.

I thought this was kinda cool. My birthday party will look like that in I’ll say four years. Yea, my 25th b’day party is gonna be rockin’…
