I really haven’t heard enough music from French Montana to be a fan but he does have some bangers. This happens to be one of them and lucky for us, he just dropped some visuals for it. The Soundmen have taken Snoop and Cudi’s new single “That Tree” and turned it into a space disco jam where George Clinton, New Order, Passion Pit, and Modest Mouse would all be playing at the same time. Its an extremely fun record whose goal is helping to bring the listener through those last weeks of winter and into spring.

MoShadee – “Flash Back”

I went through a lot of changes through my music. I feel like you can vibe to anything I put out. That’s my initiative. When people hit play on my shit, I want them to sit back and really get lost in the vibes of the track, feel everything, and come out with the words “This guy is just really being honest. Being real.” That’s what it is to me. I don’t want to be the richest man in the land. Nah, definitely not. I want to be that dude who inspires the masses to pursue what they truly want to be. I grew up in the burbs then later moved to what I would say is the most hood city on the east coast. I’ve seen both sides of life. My music embodies that. Forget all the comparisons, the genres and the like, just categorize this as MY SHIT. Through it all, I aim to be felt. Someone out there will dig this.

I recently just posted one of my favorite Jordan commercials on my Tumblr. While searching Google, I came across a bunch of others. I remember every last one of them while growing up, when basketball was my main focus. As soon as I saw my boys that early Monday morning before school, if I didn’t mention it, you could definitely expect someone to say “Yo, you seen that new Jordan commercial?” These visuals were epic and inspiring to say the least. If basketball was your passion as a kid, teenager, or adult, you definitely were glued to the tube anytime these Jordan commercials came across the screen. Hit the jump for more of my favorites.

I gotta give full credit to Secret Jones on this one. This was his Facebook status and as soon as I saw it, the memories came running back. This might just be Kelis’ best record to date (which really isn’t saying too much). With that being said, “Millionaire” really showcases Andre 3000’s skill set as he sets the stage with an amazing hook and then proceeds to kill his verse. Awesome stuff. I was chillin’ with some homies last night and “Ask About Me” came on. Needless to say, we spent the proceeding four minutes in silence, boppin’ our heads in awe of how crazy ill these two dudes are.
